Plein Air 5-22-14

I enjoy painting in alleys. They offer a disheveled, non-contrived composition that appeals to me. Kind of a behind-the-scenes look at how people live. 16x20, oil.

    Another very, very interesting alley scene of the ordinary which you know how to somehow take to extraordinary! There is a special order to this with many geometric shapes that work to make this a special composition!

      Thanks Mom! It's fun to zoom in on scenes like this...you know, stuff that lacks curb appeal.
