Basement Painting

This one I painted last night. It is the view looking down into our basement. It was really kind of tricky since I was backed up to a wall so I couldn't step back while painting and was working under an incandescent bulb. So...I didn't quite know what I'd end up with as far as color and perspective. Looking at it now, there are some things I could change and still might. 14x11, oil.

    Alright Matt, you win! I swear I have this same doorway to the basement in my house, same color walls and my jacket hangs there. I love the pattern of the floor, and the perspective. Both really add to the piece.

    Thanks Kyle! I'd love to do more interiors...you know, perspectives that people otherwise would ignore on a daily basis.
